NEW YEAR! Yes...time flies and it's new year 2012. So... what's our plan for this year? New resolution? New target? I've NEVER had any resolution. I prefer to take things one at at a time and as they come. I would like to predict what is going to happen this year.
- The PM will be a man.
- The CM of Sarawak will be a man.
- Mr Barrack Obama will still be the President of the US.
- The Mayors for DBKU and MBKS will be the same persons.
- Gawai Dayak will be on 1 June 2012.
- Traffic jam along Jalan Matang will get worse.
- The SPM and STPM for 2011 will get better/improve nationwide.
- More "peaceful" demonstration in KL but none in Kuching.
- More firecrackers during Chinese New Year.
- Christmas Day will be on 25 December 2012.
I'm also in the midst of reading articles on research being done on Bidayuh language. I'll put it in my next entry. Lots of surprises especially those who are interested in the history of the language.
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2012 and "Bidapud lagi".
Yes keep it up the documentation... Let us hope that we will at least another 30 years where our original culture still exist at the village.
ReplyDeleteI am and will be documenting my journey as a Bidayuh Priest. This year will be my third year learning as a PINGADOUP.
This year, 2012, my journey as a Bidayuh Traditional Healer begins at a "NAJANG" ceremony to be done at my friend's house, Pa Jeho, at BU'OO on January 7th at 8.30 pm. Thus, another journey begins.

ReplyDeleteThe upgrading of Jln Matang Baru is now in progress, little help along that stretch in future but i am hoping the gov will consider building a flyover at the roundabout.
yup. you're right. the jam will still be there. the roundabout is the problem, not the size and number of lanes. there should be a fly over.
